Alison Curtis-Godillon / Artist
Alison Curtis-Godillon is a Tasmanian artist whose practice is informed by both formal artistic study and a longstanding background in design and visual composition.
For several years, Alison studied under renowned Tasmanian artist and teacher Greg Waddle, who also served as her mentor. During this time, she developed her skills across oil painting, watercolour, and portraiture, building a strong foundation in observational practice and traditional techniques.
Alongside her artistic pursuits, Alison established a professional career in computer drafting, interior decoration, and design. This experience continues to influence her creative approach through an understanding of structure, balance, and visual detail.
Now returning her focus fully to art, Alison is continuing to develop her practice as part of the artist collective behind The Arrt House in Evandale, Tasmania.
